The celestial being was over a thousand leagues tall, and as he strode the universe, his arm trailed through an asteroid field offering an unexpected handful or rare metals, ore and inorganic debris.

The cosmic cogs of his giant mind began to whir and, as an idea took shape, he headed into deep space towards the remnants of a supernova he'd stumbled on once before, and knew would offer rich and spicy pickings. There, the concoction began to take shape.

Next he found the dying, sweet heart of a red dwarf star, to which he combined the fiery magma core of a beautiful marbled blue planet, that he thought it a shame to destroy, but needs must. Then, he scanned the heavens, and upon noticing an almost imperceptible shift in the continuum, made towards what he knew would provide the final requisite.

When he reached the swirling black hole, he tipped in his assemblage of complex ingredients, watched them tumble through space and time and then lifted the black hole to his lips. As the nebulous elixir traversed his palate, it was liked the fire and brimstone wrath of God… and as it settled in the pit of his galactic gut, a warmth spread through his soul.
